1. Data Collection

Share Setu does not collect, store, or process any personal data. We do not require account registration, email addresses, or phone numbers to use the service.

2. File Content

The contents of the files you share are transferred directly between your devices using Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology. Files never pass through or reside on our servers. The metadata (filename, size) is only used to facilitate the transfer on your local browser.

3. Signaling

To help devices find each other, we use a signaling server (PeerJS). This server only helps exchange public network addresses to establish a direct connection. Once the connection is established, the signaling server is no longer involved in the data transfer.

4. Cookies

We do not use any tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts. Your privacy is absolute.
