Our Mission

Share Setu was born out of a simple frustration: why is it so hard to send a single photo or document from one device to another when they are sitting right next to each other?

The "Cloud" has made us lazy. We upload to a server thousands of miles away just to download it back to a device three feet away. This is slow, inefficient, and a nightmare for privacy.

Setu means "Bridge" in Sanskrit. Our goal is to be that bridge. A direct, invisible link between your devices that respects your privacy and your time.

Why P2P?

• Privacy: Your data never touches a server. We don't store it, we don't see it.
• Speed: Direct connections use the full capacity of your local network or internet connection.
• Security: End-to-end encryption is built into the WebRTC standard we use.
